Real submissions from real people — harder to scale, but creates something that actually gets used instead of being immediately closed.
The content that moves the needle for community platforms on X is specific and urgent. "5 deals ending today, $50+ in total savings" gets clicked every time because it's actionable and time-sensitive. DealStreets generates this data naturally — it just needs someone to surface it consistently. Set up that content cadence and it largely runs itself off your own platform's data.
The local angle is the most underexplored positioning. Most national deal sites treat local business promotions as an afterthought. If DealStreets can become the go-to for local restaurant and retail deals in even a few cities, that's a genuinely defensible position and a strong story to tell on X. Hyperlocal content performs well and almost no one is doing it properly.
