My take on Latitude

The entire product is one uncomfortable truth nobody else will say out loud: when you share your location on Find My or Life360, you have no idea who is looking or how often. It is silent, one-way, and it feels like surveillance even between people who love each other. Latitude flips one thing and that flip is the whole company. Every time someone checks you, you know. "Be Findable. Not Tracked." is the cleanest tagline in this batch, so put it on everything and never water it down.

The mistake would be selling this as a feature list against Life360. It is not a better tracker, it is a different deal. Lead with the feeling, because the feeling is what people already have and cannot name. The slightly creepy sense that a partner or parent is watching the dot more than they admit. The post that lands is the contrast: "Find My tells them where you are. It does not tell you they looked." Name the discomfort, then offer the symmetric version where checking is consensual and visible on both sides.

The privacy and pricing story removes the last objection, so do not bury it. No ads, no selling your movements to data brokers, funded by the people who use it. That is rare and it earns trust instantly with the privacy crowd. Then the free tier (one connection forever) kills the friction completely, so the call to action is just "try it with the one person who already tracks you and watch how the relationship changes." The content writes itself: real, slightly vulnerable stories about being findable without feeling watched. That tone will travel further than any feature post.
