I reviewed Shortcuts Toolbox

My take on Shortcuts Toolbox

"The management layer Apple never built" is one of the best one-liners I have seen on an indie landing page this year. It does the whole job. Anyone who has more than ten Shortcuts knows the pain instantly, and anyone who does not is not your customer anyway. Do not water it down. Put it at the top of every post and let it sort your audience for you.

The move here is to sell the screenshots, not the features. A dependency graph showing which shortcut calls which, with a circular dependency lit up in red, is the entire pitch in one image. Post that. Then post the scheduling screen where you type "every Monday at 3:45pm" and it just works. People in the Shortcuts and Mac power-user world will repost a good screenshot way faster than they will read a feature list. You are sitting on visual content most SaaS founders would kill for.

The pricing is a weapon, use it. $29.99 one time, no subscription, on a tool people will open every week, against a market that is all $9/month traps. "Pay once, own it forever" is a tweet on its own right now. And the MCP angle that exposes your Shortcuts to Claude and Cursor is a separate audience entirely. Make one post just for the AI crowd showing Claude running your shortcuts, and you tap a whole new room that has never heard of you.

Apple gave you Shortcuts. It did not give you any way to manage 100 of them. Shortcuts Toolbox is the layer Apple never built: dependency graphs, scheduling, backups, AI chat. $29.99 once. No subscription. 14-day trial. shortcuts.starbellysw.com

You have a folder of Shortcuts and no idea which one calls which. Shortcuts Toolbox draws the whole graph for you. Circular dependencies in red. Orphans flagged. The mess made visible. Mac only. Pay once, keep it forever. shortcuts.starbellysw.com

Type "every Monday at 3:45pm" and your shortcut just runs. Cron, plain-English schedules, one-time delays. All from one app. Shortcuts Toolbox is the scheduling Apple should have shipped years ago. shortcuts.starbellysw.com

Built a Mac app for Apple Shortcuts power users because the built-in tools fall apart past 10 shortcuts. Dependency graphs. Scheduling. Backups. Self-contained sharing. Local-first, nothing leaves your Mac. $29.99 one time. shortcuts.starbellysw.com
