My take on Talk Later

The discipline of this product is the thing to sell. It does one thing: it puts a pause between the spark and the fight. Most relationship apps drown you in quizzes and advice nobody reads. Talk Later picks a single habit and builds the whole app around it. That focus is rare and it is exactly what makes it tweetable. "It is not therapy. It is a pause button for arguments." Lead with a line like that and people get it immediately.

The content that will spread is the relatable scenario, not the feature list. Everyone has had the 11pm argument that should have been a 10am chat. Open with that exact moment, then show the app as the fix. The capture-now, review-when-calm loop is genuinely smart, but nobody shares a feature. They share "the thing that stopped me sending a text I would regret." Write the posts as small true stories and let the product be the resolution.

One honest note on positioning, and it is a strength not a weakness: be loud that this is for healthy couples who want fewer pointless fights, not for crisis. That line builds trust and it actually widens the market, because the people most likely to download are the ones who think their relationship is mostly fine but they keep snapping over nothing. It is in beta on iOS with Android coming, so the early posts should also recruit. Ask people to try it and tell you what breaks. Build-in-public is free distribution and this audience loves rooting for a founder.

Most arguments are not about the thing. They are about the timing. You had the conversation at 11pm when you were both tired and done. Talk Later puts a pause between the spark and the fight. Capture it now, talk when you are calm. iOS beta. talklater.app

Talk Later is not therapy and it is not advice. It is a pause button for arguments. Feel the tension, log it privately, let the timer cool you down, then decide if it is even worth raising. Most of the time it is not. talklater.app

Built an app for couples who are mostly fine but keep snapping over small stuff. You capture the frustration in the moment, review it when calm, and bring up only what actually matters together. Fewer pointless fights. talklater.app

The text you almost sent at midnight. Talk Later catches it. You write it down for yourself instead of firing it off, the timer gives you space, and morning-you decides if it was real. Saved a lot of dumb arguments already. iOS beta. talklater.app

Relationship apps love quizzes and streaks. Talk Later does one thing: it stops you from having the fight at the worst possible moment. Pause, cool off, review together when you are both ready. Beta on iOS, Android soon. talklater.app
