Analyze any X account
then write posts like it, in your voice
Type a handle. Studio reads up to 30 days of that account's original posts, shows you what it posts about, which hooks and formats work for it and which posts won, then drafts 5 like them for your account.

The short answer
To analyze an X account with AI, open OpenTweet AI Studio, click Analyze an account, enter the handle and choose 7, 14 or 30 days. It reads up to 100 of the account's public original posts (replies and reposts excluded), reports topics, formats, hooks, cadence and top posts, and can write 5 posts in the same pattern in your voice. Private and suspended accounts cannot be read.
What the analysis tells you
Follower counts and engagement rates tell you an account works. These tell you why, and what to copy.
What they post about
The topics and their share of the feed, so you see the 3 subjects carrying an account rather than a word cloud.
What performed best
The top posts by likes, reposts and replies in the window, with links, and what they have in common.
Formats and hooks
Length, threads versus single posts, images, questions, lists, and the first-line patterns that keep showing up.
How often
Posts per day and how steady the cadence is, which is usually the part people underestimate.
5 drafts in your voice
The same patterns applied to your topic, written the way you write. Edit, schedule or save them as drafts.
Honest about gaps
Private, suspended or quiet accounts are reported as such, and a capped read says how far back it reached.
What a run looks like
This is the request the starter sends, word for word, and the shape of the answer. The numbers below are illustrative; yours come from the account's real posts, with links to each one Studio cites.
You: Analyze @anyhandle's posts from the last 14 days (posts only,
no replies): what they post about, the formats and hooks they
use, and what performed best. Then write 5 posts like them in
my voice.
Studio: Read 61 original posts (Oct 14 - Oct 28). Replies and reposts
left out.
Topics fundraising 41%, hiring 26%, founder mistakes 18%
Formats single posts 80-160 chars; 1 thread a week, numbered
Hooks "Unpopular opinion:", "I wasted $X on Y", a number
in the first 6 words
Best post "I wasted $40K on a fractional CMO..." (2.1K likes)
Cadence 4-5 posts a day, none on Sundays
5 drafts in your voice (from your last 50 posts) ->Follow up in the same chat: "only the threads", "compare with @otherhandle", "make draft 3 shorter", or "schedule these for next week".
Why people use it
It is the most-used starting point in AI Studio. In the 30 days to October 28, 2026, 40 of 131 Studio conversations (31%) opened with "Analyze @handle", from 17 different customers reading 32 different accounts. They were studying creators in their niche, a friend whose posts were working, or a competitor before a launch.
The reason is simple: a blank "write me a tweet" prompt gets generic posts. A prompt grounded in what is already working for an account like yours gets drafts with a reason behind them.
Pattern, not plagiarism
Studio borrows structure, not sentences. X's 2026 duplicate-content detection credits the original author and penalizes copies even with edits, so reposting someone's words as your own costs you reach. Drafts use your own topic and voice.X account analyzers compared
Most analyzers stop at numbers. The question is what you can do with the answer.

Frequently asked questions
How do I analyze someone else's X account?
Open AI Studio in OpenTweet, click "Analyze an account", type the handle (@name, name, or an x.com/name link), pick 7, 14 or 30 days and send. Studio reads that account's original posts for the window and answers three things: what it posts about, which formats and hooks it uses, and which posts performed best. Tick "write posts like them" and it also drafts 5 posts in your voice.
Does the analysis include replies and reposts?
No, unless you ask for them. Replies and reposts are filtered out in code before the AI sees anything, so a creator who replies 200 times a day is judged on what they actually post to their timeline. Ask "include replies" in the chat if you want them.
How far back can it read?
Up to 30 days and up to 100 posts per read. If an account posts more than that, Studio tells you the read was capped and how far back it reached, rather than presenting a partial month as the whole picture.
Can I analyze a private or suspended account?
No. Studio only reads public posts. For a protected account it says the account is private, and for a suspended or deactivated one it says it is unavailable. It does not guess.
Will the drafts copy the other account's posts?
No. Studio copies the pattern, not the words: the topic mix, the hook shapes, the length and format that worked. The drafts are written in your voice when your connected X account has at least 3 of your own posts to learn from. Copying posts word for word is also what X's duplicate-content detection penalizes.
Is there a free X account analyzer?
OpenTweet Companion, the free Chrome extension, shows any profile's posting frequency, a posting heatmap and viral posts right on x.com. The AI analysis and the drafts are in AI Studio, which comes with every plan: Pro $19.99/mo (10 Studio runs a day), Advanced $29/mo (50) and Agency $49/mo (150).
Can I analyze my own account the same way?
Yes. Ask "How did my posts do this week?" and Studio reads your connected account, including impressions, which public reads of other accounts do not have. It tells you what worked, what did not and what to post next.
