Frequently Asked Questions
How does the evergreen queue work?
Mark any tweet as evergreen to add it to your recycling pool. OpenTweet uses round-robin rotation to repost your best content on a schedule you control — how many per day, at what times, and with smart cooldowns between repeats.
Will followers see the same tweet twice?
Most followers only see a small percentage of your tweets. Recycling ensures more of your audience sees your best content. Smart cooldowns prevent the same tweet from posting too frequently.
Can I control how often a tweet repeats?
Yes. Set a global cooldown (minimum days between reposts) and override it per post. You control how many evergreen posts go out per day and at what times.
Does it count against my daily post limit?
Evergreen posts use your plan's daily post allocation. Pro plans include 2 evergreen posts per day, and Advanced plans include up to 10 per day.
Can I use it with threads and media?
Yes. Threads, images, GIFs, and videos are all supported in the evergreen queue. Your media-rich content recycles just like single tweets.
What happens if I remove a post from the pool?
Removing a post from the evergreen pool stops it from being recycled. Any already-scheduled instances will still post, but no new ones will be created. Your publication history is preserved.
