How to find viral tweets for content inspiration

OpenTweet's Inspiration feature helps you find viral and high-performing tweets to use as content inspiration. Search by topic or author, save the best ones to your library, and repurpose them into original content using AI.

Searching for inspiration

1. Go to Inspiration from the sidebar.
2. Use the search bar to find tweets by keyword, topic, or author.
3. Results are ranked by engagement — likes, retweets, and views.
4. Click "Save" on any tweet to add it to your library.

Search limits

Inspiration searches are limited per plan: Pro gets 5 searches per day, Advanced gets 20, and Agency gets 50.

Using saved inspirations

Your saved tweets live in the Inspiration library permanently. Filter them by source (Search, Extension, Manual), browse your collection, and select tweets to repurpose whenever you need content ideas.

Inspiration as a workflow

Many successful X creators use a research-then-create workflow:

1. Spend 10 minutes saving viral tweets in your niche.
2. Select 3–5 that resonate with your audience.
3. Use "Repurpose with AI" to create original versions in your voice.
4. Schedule the repurposed content throughout the week.
