Typefully Pricing 2026: The $10 Pro Plan Is Gone. Free, Creator $99/yr and Business Explained

Short answer: Typefully now has four plans. Free ($0, 10 posts a month, no AI). Creator ($99 a year, billed yearly only, 1 social set, 1,000 posts a month, AI and X analytics). Business ($20 a month per social set, or $18 billed yearly, up to 50 sets, teams). Enterprise (custom). The old Pro plan at $10 a month is gone, so there is no longer a monthly plan for one account under $20.

If searches for Typefully jumped in your feed this week, this is why. Google Trends shows interest in "typefully" roughly 4x higher since October 11 than in September, and "typefully pricing" is the top related search. Many pricing pages and reviews still quote the old $10 Pro or a $12.50 Creator plan. Those numbers are out of date.

Typefully's pricing page loads its prices with JavaScript and doesn't state a change date. The plan names, limits and features below come from that page, as of October 17, 2026. The dollar amounts match three independent price checks from October 12 to 14, 2026.

Typefully plans at a glance

Plan Price Billing Posts a month Social sets Users AI writing X analytics
Free $0 n/a 10 1 1 No No
Creator $99/yr (about $8.25/mo) Yearly only 1,000 1 1 Yes Yes
Business $20/mo per set ($18 yearly) Monthly or yearly 1,500 Up to 50 Unlimited Yes Yes
Enterprise Custom Custom Custom Custom Custom Yes Yes

Every plan includes multi-platform publishing (X, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon and more), scheduling, and Typefully's API, MCP server and agent access. Business adds collaborative drafts, comments, Slack notifications, roles and higher API rate limits.

What changed, and when

Date What Typefully listed
July 2026 Free (15 posts), Pro $10/mo per set ($8 yearly, up to 10 sets), Business $20, Enterprise
Late August 2026 Pricing page showed no plans
September to October 2026 Free (10 posts), Creator $99/yr, Business $20 per set, Enterprise

Three things matter if you're deciding today:

  1. The cheapest paid plan is now yearly only. You pay $99 upfront. There is no way to try Creator for one month.
  2. One social set on Creator. Pro allowed up to 10 sets at $10 each. On the new plans, a second set means Business at $20 a set.
  3. The free plan got tighter. It went from 15 to 10 posts a month, though it now includes the API, MCP and automations.

Typefully hasn't said publicly what happens to existing Pro subscribers. If you're on Pro, check your billing page before your renewal date.

The real cost per X account

Typefully bills Business per social set, so cost grows in a straight line with the number of accounts you run. That is the number to compare.

X accounts Typefully (monthly billing) Typefully (yearly billing) OpenTweet (monthly)
1 $20/mo (Business) or $99/yr (Creator) $99/yr (Creator) $19.99/mo (Pro), $190/yr
3 $60/mo $648/yr $29/mo (Advanced), $290/yr
5 $100/mo $1,080/yr $49/mo (Agency)
10 $200/mo $2,160/yr $49/mo (Agency)

For one account billed yearly, Typefully Creator is cheaper: $99 against OpenTweet Pro's $190. For one account billed monthly, the two are about the same ($20 against $19.99). From two accounts up, a flat plan wins. Three X accounts cost $60 a month on Typefully Business and $29 on OpenTweet Advanced. Ten cost $200 against $49.

What each Typefully plan is good for

Free suits trying the editor, or posting a few times a week without AI. At 10 posts a month, a daily poster runs out in about a week and a half.

Creator suits a single writer with one identity who has already decided to stay a year. 1,000 posts a month is more than enough for one account, and you get AI writing and X analytics. The catch is the upfront payment.

Business suits teams, because it adds shared drafts, comments, approvals and roles. For a solo creator with several accounts, you mostly pay for collaboration features you won't use.

What Typefully still doesn't do

Typefully's editor and thread previews are among the best on X. It has auto-retweet and auto-plug. These are the gaps people most often switch over:

  • No evergreen queue. Typefully doesn't recycle your best posts on a schedule. If you relied on Hypefury-style evergreen recycling (and Hypefury no longer supports X), you have to rebuild that by hand.
  • No monthly plan for one account under $20. You either prepay $99 or pay Business pricing.
  • Per-set pricing for multi-account creators. Running a personal account and a product account means two sets.

Typefully vs OpenTweet: which to pick

Typefully OpenTweet
Cheapest paid plan Creator, $99/yr, yearly only Pro, $19.99/mo or $190/yr, 7-day free trial
Pricing model Per social set (Business) Flat per plan
X accounts 1 per set 1 (Pro), 3 (Advanced $29), 10 (Agency $49)
Other networks X, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon and more X, Bluesky, LinkedIn
Posts 1,000/mo (Creator), 1,500/mo (Business) 20/day (Pro), 100/day (Advanced), 300/day (Agency)
Auto-retweet, auto-plug Yes Yes
Evergreen queue No Yes
AI that writes in your voice AI writing on Creator and up Learns your voice from your own posts
API and MCP Yes, all plans Yes, all plans (REST API plus a hosted MCP server)
Team collaboration Yes (Business) No
Link posts Not limited on the pricing page 1/day (Pro), 10 (Advanced), 20 (Agency), plus credits

Pick Typefully if you write long threads for one account, also post to Threads or Mastodon, are happy to prepay a year, or need team approvals.

Pick OpenTweet if you run two or more X accounts, want an evergreen queue that keeps posting your proven content, want to pay monthly, or want an AI agent (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor) to draft and schedule through the MCP server and API.

One honest caveat on OpenTweet: X charges $0.20 for every post with a link, so link posts are capped by plan. If most of your posts carry a link, look at Advanced or Agency.

How to switch from Typefully

There's no direct import between Typefully and other tools, so moving takes a few minutes of copy and paste:

  1. Export your drafts and scheduled posts from Typefully before your plan renews.
  2. Connect your X account in the new tool. You log in with X, with no developer account needed.
  3. Bulk-schedule the backlog. Paste drafts into the calendar, or send them through the API in batches of up to 50. See how to bulk schedule tweets.
  4. Recreate your auto-plug and auto-retweet defaults once in settings.
  5. Load your best old posts into the evergreen queue so the calendar never runs empty.

The short version

Typefully dropped its $10 Pro plan. The cheapest paid option is now Creator at $99 a year, billed yearly only, for one social set. Monthly billing starts at $20 per social set on Business, and the free plan allows 10 posts a month. For one account on yearly billing, Typefully is good value. For several X accounts, monthly billing or an evergreen queue, a flat-priced tool costs less.
