Connect your LinkedIn profile and send the same post to X, Bluesky and LinkedIn from one draft.
- Connect with one LinkedIn sign-in, no developer app and no API key
- Tick LinkedIn on any post, or let auto cross-post include it
- Up to 3,000 characters and 4 images, published as a native LinkedIn post
- A thread goes to LinkedIn as one post with its parts joined
- Works from the REST API and the MCP server with the same platforms field
OpenTweet now posts to LinkedIn. Go to Settings, open Accounts, click Connect LinkedIn and approve it on LinkedIn. That is the whole setup. Your posts go to your personal LinkedIn profile.
Everything else stays the same. The composer gets a LinkedIn chip next to X and Bluesky, the queue and the calendar hold one post for all three, and scheduled posts publish at their time on every network you picked. From the API or an agent, add "linkedin" to the platforms field.
LinkedIn works differently from X, so a few things change on the way out. LinkedIn has no threads, so a thread goes out there as one post with the parts separated by a blank line. Posts can be up to 3,000 characters. Hashtags and mentions publish as plain text. Video does not go to LinkedIn yet, so a post with a video is skipped there and tells you why.
One thing to know: LinkedIn sign-ins last 60 days, and LinkedIn does not let apps like ours renew them. When yours runs out, scheduled LinkedIn posts are held, you get an email, and reconnecting takes one click. Company Pages and LinkedIn analytics are not supported.
