How to Use OpenTweet AI Studio
Last updated: April 12, 2026
AI Studio is OpenTweet's built-in AI content generation interface, powered by Claude. Open it from the sidebar to start a conversation where you describe what you want to post and the AI writes it for you.
How does AI Studio work?
AI Studio works like a chat conversation. Type a request such as "Write a tweet about my new product feature" or "Give me 5 thread ideas about productivity". The AI responds with suggestions. Click "Use as draft" on any suggestion to save it to your dashboard queue. Continue the conversation to iterate — ask for shorter versions, more personality, or a thread format.
How does Voice Learning integrate with AI Studio?
When Voice Learning is enabled, AI Studio generates content that matches your personal writing style rather than a generic AI voice. The AI uses your voice profile (built from analyzing your past tweets) to match your vocabulary, sentence length, punctuation habits, and tone. Enable Voice Learning in the AI Studio settings panel after posting at least 10 tweets.
What are Content Pillars and how do they help?
Content Pillars are topic categories you define in Settings (e.g., "SaaS building", "developer productivity", "startup lessons"). These are injected into every AI Studio session so the AI generates on-brand content relevant to your topics. Without pillars, the AI generates generic content. With them, it stays focused on your niche.
How do I generate a thread with AI?
Ask AI Studio directly: "Write a 7-tweet thread about [topic]". The AI generates a complete thread with each tweet under the character limit, structured for engagement with a hook opener and a call to action at the end. Click "Use as draft" to save the full thread, then schedule it from the dashboard.
What are the daily AI generation limits?
AI generation limits are per plan: Pro gets 10 generations per day, Advanced gets 50 per day, and Agency gets 150 per day. Each AI Studio conversation turn counts as one generation. Bulk repurposing (multiple tweets at once) counts as one generation regardless of how many tweets are selected. Limits reset at midnight in your configured timezone.
