Automation & Connectors
What are OpenTweet connectors?
OpenTweet connectors are automated pipelines that monitor external data sources and generate tweets from them. Instead of manually writing posts about blog articles, code releases, or revenue milestones, connectors do it for you.
Available connector types
- RSS Connector — Monitors any RSS/Atom feed (blog, podcast, news) and creates tweets when new items appear.
- GitHub Connector — Watches your repositories for new releases, stars, forks, and other activity, then tweets about them.
- Stripe Connector — Tracks your Stripe revenue, customer count, and MRR, then generates milestone tweets (e.g., "Just crossed $5,000 MRR!").
- SaaS Connector — Analyzes your SaaS landing page and generates varied, original tweets about your product automatically.
- API Connector — Accepts webhook POST requests with custom data and generates tweets from your payload.
How connectors work
- Create a connector from the Connectors page in the sidebar.
- Configure the source (RSS URL, GitHub repo, Stripe API key, etc.).
- Set a posting schedule — how often to check for new content and when to post.
- Optionally customize the tweet template or let AI generate the content.
- The connector runs automatically on schedule.
AI-powered content generation
Most connectors use AI to transform raw data (a blog post title, a GitHub release) into an engaging tweet. The AI respects your Content Pillars and Voice Learning profile if enabled.
Connector limits
Pro plans include 5 connectors, Advanced and Agency plans include unlimited connectors.
