Understanding the OpenTweet dashboard
The OpenTweet dashboard is your central hub for creating, scheduling, and managing all your X/Twitter content. It's organized around a sidebar navigation, a tweet composer, and your post queue.
Dashboard layout
The dashboard has three main areas:
- Sidebar (left) — Navigate to Dashboard, AI Studio, Calendar, Connectors, Evergreen Queue, Screenshots, Inspiration, API, Stats, Achievements, and Settings.
- Composer (top) — Write tweets, add media, set schedules, and publish. Switch between single tweet and thread mode.
- Post queue (center) — View all your scheduled, draft, and posted tweets. Filter by status and search by content.
Filtering your posts
Use the filter tabs above the post queue to switch between:
- Scheduled — Tweets waiting to be published at their scheduled time.
- Drafts — Tweets saved but not yet scheduled.
- Posted — Tweets that have been published to X.
- Failed — Tweets that failed to post (usually due to X API issues).
Quick actions
Each post card in the queue shows quick actions: edit, reschedule, delete, or duplicate. For posted tweets, you can add them to the Evergreen Queue to be recycled automatically.
Multi-account switching
If you have multiple X accounts connected, use the account switcher at the top of the dashboard to filter posts by account and switch which account new tweets will be posted from.
