Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every new OpenTweet account gets a 7-day free trial with full access to all features: AI Studio, scheduling, connectors, evergreen queue, Chrome extension, REST API, and MCP server. The trial is at Pro-level access, meaning you get the same limits as a Pro subscriber during the 7 days.
Is there a free plan?
No. OpenTweet does not offer a permanent free plan. The 7-day free trial is the only free access. After the trial ends, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using OpenTweet's features. Your data is preserved if you return later and subscribe.
What happens when the trial ends?
When your 7-day trial expires: scheduled tweets stop publishing, connectors pause, AI generation is disabled, and your account enters read-only mode. You can still log in and view your data. Subscribe to any paid plan and full access restores immediately — including any tweets that were waiting to be published.
How do I start the free trial?
- Go to opentweet.io and click "Start Free Trial".
- Sign up with your email or Google account.
- Connect your X (Twitter) account via OAuth.
- Start using OpenTweet — full access begins immediately.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. If you subscribe after the trial and later decide to cancel, go to Settings → Subscription and click "Cancel Subscription". Your account stays active until the end of the current billing period. No cancellation fees apply.
