LinkedIn Image Size Guide 2026
Every LinkedIn image size in one table, each with its source: banner, profile photo, company cover, logo, post images and document posts. Then crop your own image to the exact size and download it, free and right in your browser.
What are the LinkedIn image sizes?
LinkedIn's official Company Page sizes are a 400 x 400 pixel logo (268 x 268 minimum), a 1512 x 256 cover image and a 1128 x 376 Life tab main image, all PNG or JPEG up to 3 MB. LinkedIn recommends 1200 x 627 (1.91:1) for Page post images, and any image can be up to 36 megapixels.
We could not find a LinkedIn published size for personal profile photos or banners. 400 x 400 and 1584 x 396 are the sizes most guides use.

Crop an image to a LinkedIn size
Shaded circle: roughly where your profile photo covers the banner on desktop. Approximate, and the crop differs on mobile. Size is commonly used, not published by LinkedIn.

LinkedIn banner size: personal profile vs Company Page
Personal background banner
The size almost every guide uses is 1584 x 396, a 4:1 ratio. LinkedIn's help pages that we checked do not publish it, so treat it as common practice. Your round profile photo sits over the lower left of the banner, so keep names, logos and text toward the center and right. GIFs are not supported.
Company Page cover
LinkedIn Help gives 1512 x 256 as both the minimum and the recommended size, PNG or JPEG, up to 3 MB. That is about 5.9:1, much wider than the personal banner, so a personal banner image will not fit a Company Page without a new crop. The Page logo overlaps the lower left.

Single image
LinkedIn recommends a 1.91:1 ratio, 1200 x 627 pixels, for Page post images, more than 200 pixels wide. The hard limit is resolution: 36 megapixels.
