How to Manage Email Notification Preferences

Last updated: April 15, 2026

Control which emails OpenTweet sends: daily digests, streak warnings, queue alerts, and product updates.

OpenTweet sends several types of notification emails to help you stay on top of your posting activity. All email types are optional and individually configurable from Settings → Email Preferences.

Quick Answer: Manage email notifications in Settings → Email Preferences. Toggle individual email types (digests, milestones, alerts, re-engagement, product updates) on or off. Pause all emails temporarily with a date-based pause. Unsubscribe links in every email also let you adjust preferences.

What types of emails does OpenTweet send?

OpenTweet sends five types of notification emails: Daily Digest (9 AM your timezone — posting activity, streak status, upcoming schedule), Milestone Emails (achievement unlocks, posting milestones), Alert Emails (failed posts, empty queue warnings, streak at risk), Re-engagement (if you haven't posted in a while — sent at increasing intervals from 1 day to 60 days), and Product Updates (new feature announcements). All are opt-in from Settings.

How do I manage my email preferences?

Go to Settings and scroll to Email Preferences. Each email type has an on/off toggle. Changes save immediately. You can also click the unsubscribe link in any OpenTweet email — this opens the Email Preferences page directly, pre-highlighted with the relevant email type so you can turn it off quickly.

How do I pause all emails?

In Settings → Email Preferences, use the 'Pause Emails' option to temporarily stop all notification emails. Set a specific resume date or pause indefinitely. While paused, no OpenTweet emails will be sent regardless of individual toggle settings. Click 'Resume Emails' at any time to re-enable. This is useful when traveling or during periods when you're not actively using OpenTweet.

How do I unsubscribe from emails?

Every OpenTweet email contains an unsubscribe link in the footer. Clicking it opens the Email Preferences page where you can toggle off specific email types or turn off all emails. You can also go directly to Settings → Email Preferences. Preferences changes take effect immediately — no confirmation email needed.
