How to Manage Your OpenTweet Subscription
Last updated: April 10, 2026
All subscription management in OpenTweet happens from Settings → Subscription. Upgrades take effect immediately. Cancellations keep your account active until the billing period ends. Billing is handled by Paddle.
How do I upgrade my plan?
Go to Settings → Subscription and click 'Upgrade' or 'Change Plan'. Select your new plan. The upgrade takes effect immediately — you gain access to the higher plan's features right away. You're charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current billing period, then the full new plan amount on your next billing date.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Settings → Subscription and click 'Cancel Subscription'. Your account remains active and fully functional until the end of the current billing period — all scheduled tweets, connectors, and features continue working until that date. After expiry, the account enters read-only mode, but all your data is preserved.
What happens after cancellation?
When your subscription expires after cancellation: scheduled tweets stop being published, new content cannot be scheduled, connectors pause. Your queue, drafts, connectors, inspirations, screenshots, and settings are preserved in read-only mode. If you resubscribe, everything is restored immediately — no setup required.
How do I access the billing portal?
Click 'Manage Billing' in Settings → Subscription. This opens the Paddle billing portal in a new tab where you can update payment card information, view invoice history, change billing email, and download receipts. OpenTweet itself does not store payment card data — all billing is managed by Paddle.
