How to Manage Multiple X Accounts in OpenTweet
Last updated: April 17, 2026
OpenTweet lets you connect and manage multiple X accounts from a single dashboard. Each account gets its own queue, connectors, evergreen settings, voice profile, and analytics. Advanced allows 3 accounts; Agency allows 10.
How many X accounts can I connect?
Account limits depend on your plan: Pro allows 1 X account, Advanced allows up to 3 X accounts, and Agency allows up to 10 X accounts. If you attempt to connect more accounts than your plan allows, you'll be prompted to upgrade. All accounts appear in the account switcher in the dashboard.
How do I add an additional X account?
Go to Settings → X Accounts and click 'Add X Account'. Complete the OAuth authorization flow on X for the new account — log in as the account you want to add and click Authorize. Once connected, give the account a nickname (e.g., "@mybusiness", "Client A") and a color for quick visual identification in the dashboard.
How do I switch between accounts?
Use the account switcher at the top of the dashboard to select which X account is active. When switched, the post queue, draft list, connectors, evergreen queue, analytics, and AI Studio all filter to show content for the selected account. New tweets created while a specific account is selected are automatically assigned to that account.
What per-account features are available?
Each connected X account in OpenTweet operates independently: separate post queue, separate connector set, individual evergreen queue, dedicated voice learning profile, and per-account analytics. This allows completely independent management of each Twitter profile from one dashboard — ideal for managing client accounts or personal and business profiles.
