How to configure your OpenTweet account settings

The Settings page in OpenTweet is your central hub for account configuration. Access it from the sidebar to manage your X connection, content preferences, billing, and integrations.

Available settings

X Account — Connect, reconnect, or manage your X account(s). View connection status and add additional accounts.
Content Pillars — Define the topics you post about to guide AI content generation.
Time Zone — Auto-detected from your browser. Override manually if needed. Affects scheduled post times.
API Keys — Create and manage API keys for the REST API and MCP server.
Subscription — View your current plan, upgrade, downgrade, or cancel.
Email Preferences — Control which notification emails you receive (digests, milestones, alerts, re-engagement, product updates).
Voice Learning — Enable or disable AI voice matching.

Email preferences

OpenTweet sends optional notification emails including daily posting summaries, streak warnings, queue alerts, and product updates. Control each type individually from Settings, or pause all emails temporarily.

Time zone

Your time zone determines when scheduled tweets are published. OpenTweet auto-detects your time zone from your browser. If you travel frequently, set it manually to ensure consistent posting times.
