How to Configure Your OpenTweet Account Settings
Last updated: April 10, 2026
The OpenTweet Settings page is the central hub for all account configuration. Access it by clicking 'Settings' in the sidebar. Changes to most settings take effect immediately without requiring a page reload.
What settings are available?
Settings is organized into sections: X Account (connect/reconnect/disconnect your X account, manage multi-account connections), Content Pillars (define your core topics for AI generation), Time Zone (auto-detected from browser, overridable), API Keys (create and manage programmatic access keys), Subscription (view plan, upgrade/downgrade, access billing portal), Email Preferences (control notification emails), and Voice Learning (enable/disable AI voice profile).
How do I manage email preferences?
Scroll to Email Preferences in Settings. Toggle each email type on or off: Daily Digest, Milestone Emails, Alert Emails, Re-engagement, and Product Updates. Set the digest frequency to daily, weekly, or off. Use the 'Pause Emails' option to temporarily halt all emails until a chosen date. All changes save immediately.
How does the time zone setting work?
OpenTweet auto-detects your timezone from your browser on first use. All scheduled tweet times are stored and displayed in your local timezone. To override, select a different timezone from the dropdown in Settings. Changing your timezone updates the display of all existing scheduled tweets to reflect the new timezone — the actual publish time (stored in UTC) remains unchanged.
